“Have Faith”

I’m sharing with your the devotion we used on Saturday at our poster campaign. It’s important to remember that every job in the anti-trafficking is important.

Devotion for Poster Campaign

Topic “Have Faith”

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (Hebrews 11:1-3 NIV)

Sometimes in the fight against trafficking we often get discouraged by how big the problem really is. How can my one little action make a difference. In this process sometimes we get frustrated at not being able to see the fruits of our labor. We need to remember that as we put out these posters we are not doing just a simple task, we are putting life line to help a person in slaved. As we all go home to our families and these girls get ready to hit the streets we need to pray that our posters be seen. We need to have faith that these numbers will be used and God will honor our heart for justice. We may never hear of a girl being rescued or personally save someone from the streets but have faith in the ripple effect we are having in our own city.
